Google's digital marketing privacy playbook. This is partially a marketing document for google's new "enhanced conversion metric" but contains some good information on how data-driven attribution actually works.
Studies commissioned by Facebook find that "long term ROI" often make up the majority of advertising's total impact. Potentially biased studies, but good ideas to think on.
