A few weeks ago, I reached out to this wonderful community of supporters for help in designing the cover of my book, and you came through -- in a big way.
You saw things I totally missed, educated me on visual limitations, and made brilliant suggestions. You were deadlocked on some details and almost unanimous on others. As confusing and conflicting as things felt sometimes, I could not have gotten this done with you.
So... after several rounds of revision (and me making my cover designer a bit batty, for sure), I am delighted to finally share with you the cover for Pheidippides Didn't Die. I hope you love it as much as I do.
But, , that's not all. The art for Pheidippides Didn't Die isn't just on the cover. And since you're one of my VIP supporters, I wanted to share with you something that I'm extra giddy about -- Mac and Libby's personalized chapter images.
As I type, the Layout Editor is tweaking the formatting and finalizing the book. It's only a matter of weeks until the e-book goes live and few more beyond that until the paperback hits shelves.
Are you excited?
I'm especially psyched because I've already gotten really inspiring feedback from early readers -- including editors, book-loving friends, and accomplished and award-winning writers.
Here's one of my favorites...
“Dark-night-of-the-soul turned meet-cute turned steamy romance? Check. Disarmingly accurate mental health and trauma rep that avoids sensationalizing mental illness? Double check. Libby and Mac will set your heart racing in Autumn Konopka's wise and swoonful new novel. If you've ever questioned your endurance — as an athlete, a partner, or otherwise — Pheidippides Didn't Die will meet you in that place of doubt and offer an unforgettable light. This is a well-paced page-turner — get ready!”

I can't wait to hear what you think, too.
Thank you again for your early and ongoing support. I couldn't do this without you.
