Everything that announced during Apple’s “Far Out” event to officially unveil the iPhone 14 lineup, including new versions of the Apple Watch and Apple AirPods, 5G, and AirPower, as well as an all-new iPad Pro.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus

• The new iPhones come in two sizes: 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes and are available in five colors: midnight, starlight, blue, purple and red.
• They are powered by the A15 bionic chip and come with crash detection and the new Emergency SOS via Satellite service.

The new iPhone models:

• iPhone 14 Pro
• Features the A16 bionic chip and an always-on display
• 48 megapixel camera with quad-pixel sensor that can capture 4x more information than before
• Action mode that offers gimbal-like stabilization
• 4k resolution video and 24 frames-per-second recording

New Apple Watch models

• Apple Watch Series 8 comes with a suite of advanced cycle tracking features, including valuable information about ovulation
• The Series 8 also offers crash detection, which will automatically connect you with emergency services in the event of a car crash
• Available to order now and will ship on Sept 16, the Apple Watch SE 2 offers all the core benefits of an Apple Watch, including crash detection
• It's priced at $249 for GPS and $299 for cellular, and is available in silver, midnight, and starlight, and comes with an 18-hour battery life

Emergency SOS service via Satellite

• Connecting to a satellite-based network is only possible when the phone is pointing directly at a satellite, so Apple created a unique user experience that shows you were to point your phone to establish a connection.
• Apple also created a short text compression algorithm to reduce the size of average messages by a factor of three.

The first beta for the Android 13 quarterly release includes a new "clear calling" feature that "reduces background noises during calls." It was first spotted by Mishaal Rahman on Twitter who also tweeted directions to enable it for yourself without root, if you're feeling bold.

Google has been using AI to suppress background noises like the crackling of snack bags, keyboard clicks, and dogs barking in Google Meet

The Pixel Buds Pro are the company's first earbuds with active noise cancellation

Chris Welch, who knows more about noise-cancelation tech, called the ANC on the Pixel buds "more than competent"

New animations in the latest Android 13 beta have revealed that the Pixel Tablet will indeed come with a docking station

As soon as the tablet attaches to the base, a charging animation appears on it, followed by the Google Assistant logo and icons for alarm, music, videos, and pictures

It seems Google is using the animations to demonstrate how to dock and undock the Pixel tablet

You’ll be able to cast music and videos from your phone to the device without unlocking it first

The tablet will also come with a variety of custom art, clockfaces, and more to customize your screen while it is docked

Google is expected to release a cheaper version of its Chromecast with Google TV

The cheaper version will only support 1080p instead of 4K and will look almost identical to the 4K version

It's expected to come in two different colors: Snow (white) and Sunrise (pink)

There is also a possibility that it will come in a cheaper HD model as well

Meta has announced that its Connect Conference will be livestreamed on October 11th at 1PM ET / 10AM PT. In a post on the Oculus blog, the company says it will cover the progress it's made on the metaverse and offer "a look at what's to come in the near and far future."

The headset will include eye and facial tracking and color passthrough, and it's rumored to have a higher-res screen than what's currently included on the Oculus Quest 2

It's also expected to be significantly more expensive than the Quest 2, which recently got its price bumped up to $399.99.

Google has announced the October 6 launch event for the Pixel 7 series and the Pixel Watch. It looks like that's not all the company would be unveiling there. On its Ideas & Info blog, Google has also revealed that the new Nest smart home portfolio will make its debut on the same day as its new flagships.
