What's happening in the South Queens Chamber of Commerce and the Business Community.

We're excited to announce that the SQCC are proud sponsors of this years LITF Opening Night, and you're the first to know!  

There will be a concert (Band/Artist will be announced soon!) and Night Market on the evening of October 13th, right on Main Street!  We will share more details with you once we have some confirmations.

At this time, we are looking for vendors who may be interested in setting up a booth/tent for the night market.  Service and product-based businesses are welcome and we will cover your vendor fees!

The Region of Queens Municipality, in partnership with NS Labour, Skills and Immigration, are planning the details of this workshop in Queens County.  You can learn (not commit to) more about the process of bringing workers from another country, and touch on creating welcoming communities. 

If you have been a part of, or have gone through the process of becoming a designated establishment for the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), we would love to have to in this workshop to share your experience.  Please save the date as we share more details in the next week.

Ashley joined the South Queens Chamber of Commerce shortly after moving to the area in 2017, and now holds the role of Vice President.
