Business registered as “For-Profit” entities, current with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks, are eligible to apply for one-time grants to a maximum of 50K for improvements to their built environment.

AIP is an opportunity for employers to hire foreign nationals for jobs you haven’t been able to fill locally, while accessing services from immigrant settlement service providers

Launched on January 1, 2022 as a Permanent Program. AIP addresses the labour gaps of employers in the Atlantic provinces.  They also provide a pathway for skilled workers and international graduates who want to live permanently in Atlantic Canada.

ISANS hosts a monthly online session for employers about this program, and the next one is on Tuesday, July 5th at 10am.  Registration is required.

We purchased 50 baskets this year and were able to cover Liverpool on Main St., from Union St. to Court St., Gorham St., Market St., Legion St., Bristol Ave. and double up on the light poles across the parking lot. 

Together with the Shop Local banners from the Region, we have rolled out the welcome mat to our visitors and residents to come shop in Liverpool.

Our awesome membership and some awesome local residents and supporters of the Chamber have now sponsored 40 baskets.

The baskets are $125 for SQCC members, or $150 for non-members.
