We are thrilled to announce the launch of our much-anticipated sponsorship campaign for the upcoming Christmas events, proudly hosted by the South Queens Chamber of Commerce! As we gear up for the most wonderful time of the year, we are reaching out to our esteemed members and local businesses to join us in spreading the festive cheer and making this holiday season unforgettable for our community.

Why Sponsor our Christmas Events?

The South Queens Chamber of Commerce Christmas events have always been a cornerstone of our community engagement efforts. By becoming a sponsor, you not only support these cherished traditions but also gain invaluable exposure for your business. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your products or services to a wider audience, connect with potential customers, and reinforce your commitment to the local community.

What Can You Expect as a Sponsor?

Prominent Brand Visibility: Your business will be prominently featured in all our event promotional materials, including flyers, banners, social media posts, and press releases.

1 Christmas Tree in the Park or Museum: Your sponsorship will include 1 Tree at your preferred location (Queens County Museum or Liverpool Waterfront) for our annual Christmas Tree collection.

Shop Local Radio Advertising: Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsors will be included in our 5 week shop local campaign placed on CKBW & Country 100.7.

Bronze Sponsor

As a Bronze sponsor, your organization will be sponsoring the Dumping Day and Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Silver Sponsor

As a Silver sponsor, your organization will be sponsoring the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Queens Holiday Festival.

Gold Sponsor

As a Gold sponsor, your organization will be sponsoring the Downtown for Holidays events and Queens Holiday Festival on Dec 2nd.

Platinum Sponsor

As a Platinum Sponsor, your organization will be sponsoring All events and the Food Crawl during the Queens Holiday Festival.

BECOME A SPONSOR

SQCC Holiday Events that you will support by becoming a sponsor:

Dumping Day - November 27 (tentative)

Our SQCC Team will be covering wharfs on Moose Harbour, Brooklyn Marina, Port Medway, Port Mouton, and Hunts Point. We will be providing coffee, tea and donuts to the lobster fishermen leaving the ports.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony - November 30th - 5:30PM

Held at the Old Town Hall Arts & Cultural Centre (front of the Astor Theatre). We will have our annual tree lighting ceremony, sing-a-long with Santa, Parade of lights from Town Hall to Waterfront, followed by Mi'qmaq ceremony. We will provide complimentary hot chocolate and cookies at the waterfront.

Downtown for the Holidays - Dec 2 - 31, 2023

These are all the shopping events happening between December 2 - 31st. Including the Holiday House Tour, Gift Box, Picture Frame and tent installation at the Waterfront.

Queens Holiday Festival - Dec 2, 2023

Astor Theatre - Crafts, story time with Santa, entertainment all day long.

Shopping Event - We will be doing the passport program again for this and will have a grand prize draw, either purchased or donated by the establishment.

Food Crawl - Dec 2 & 3, 2023

We are planning to sell food crawl tickets again this year for $5, and can be used at participating establishments to enjoy their specials.

Not Ready to Sponsor?

We understand if your organization is not ready to become a sponsor this year. You are still able to get the Trees for the park or museum this year. You can also sign up for the Shop Local Radio Campaign and be a part of the community advertising!

Get a Tree in one of two locations!

This year, we will having the trees lit up at the Liverpool Waterfront and at the Queens County Museum.

Support Local Holiday Campaign 2023

*If you become a Silver, Gold, and Platinum sponsor, this is included in your package*

SQCC has partnered with CKBW, Country 100.7 and RoundTable to promote the Support Local Holiday Campaign 2023, which gives reduced advertising rates to Chamber Members.

What's included:

30 second ads
A prepared script will be provided
10 radio plays in each station (CKBW and Country 100.7, total of 20 plays)
Played between November 20th - December 23, 2023 (5 weeks)
