Featured Resources:

  1. Deprescribing and Undiagnosis: Two Sides of a Coin
We are thrilled to introduce you to a thought-provoking resource by Dr. S. Gupta, a renowned expert in the field of mental health. Date: 11/10/23
    Time: 1-3pm Eastern (10am -12pm Pacific)
Dr. Gupta will shed light on the challenges patients face as they reduce psychotropic medications, addressing withdrawal symptoms, recurrent symptoms, and the fear of rehospitalization. The webinar will also explore the process of creating a more complex narrative of psychological distress beyond the diagnosis. Can't make it live? Don't worry! A recording will be sent to all registered attendees.
  2. Hidden Gems: The Gifts of Presence
Another valuable resource we'd like to highlight is a presentation from UCLA's Hope Series titled "Hidden Gems: The Gifts of Presence" by Kimberly Lee, JD.
    Date: 11/15/23
Time: 10:00 to 11:30 am Pacific Time (PT)
With the use of guided meditation, expressive writing, and mixed-media art making through the creation of a SoulCollage® card, we’ll focus on noticing what we might have not noticed before, recognizing the small instances of joy and beauty that surround us, and orienting ourselves towards being fully present in our daily lives.

We encourage you to explore these resources and explore upcoming conferences in 2024, as they align with our mission to promote self-awareness, peer advocacy, and radical wellness. They offer new perspectives on mental health and well-being that can empower us on our individual journeys.

Stay Connected: We want to ensure that you are always informed and supported on your path to wellness. Don't forget to stay engaged with the Wildflowers' Movement community through our website, social media channels, and regular newsletters. If you have any questions, feedback, or ideas to share, please feel free to reach out to us.

Thank you for being a part of our Wildflowers' Movement community. Together, we can foster positive change and growth in our lives.

Wishing you a month filled with self-awareness, advocacy, and radical wellness!

Warm regards,
