🚗 Gate Hours

• Thursday: noon – 2 am
• Friday: 10 am – 2 am
• Saturday: 10 am – 4 pm

Outside these hours, you be sad dino because no come in and join dino fun—no make dino cry pls! 

Gate Requirements

We'll be checking your vaxx papers and Same-Day rapid tests.

Early worker arrival

Only registered setup volunteers and artists (you know who you are bc we've been emailing with you directly) may show up as early as noon on Wednesday; please follow the check-in instructions provided to you by your team lead.

Etiquette

Our team of dinos and our friendly venue have been working real hard to make sure we are all set up to have a great time! Please honor their labors of love by being nice to Gate and other staff, claiming only the camp space you need (land grabs also make dino cry!), and helping out when and where you can. 💖

🌤 Weather

We're expecting things to be chill AF (literally!) and maybe even a bit damp, so plan on bringing your furs and fun layers and consider what you'll do if moisture starts falling from the sky. Note also that there are wildfires ~100mi north; we're out of direct fire danger, but are expecting haze on Wednesday and Thursday, with PM2.5 around 65 µg/m3, so feel free to bring an N95 if you like. Currently seeing blue skies up at the lake—the photo above is from this morning!

💯 Helping out

The volunteer form is closed now, but when you are onsite, we encourage you to be the bestest hundosaur and pitching in wherever you see a need: Clean the kitchen! Pick up trash! Bring lost items to Basecamp so they can be found! We're all in this together; let's be friendly dinos to each other too.

This year you’ll be able to explore more art than ever, with about 20 projects including ice sculptures, a tiny jurassic park with dolls, two interactive music stations, a bird-watching cafe, a mocktail bar, several pretty night-time light arts, and a multi-part adventure quest.

Saturday night. Pretend dinosaurs are getting married. What will you wear? What will you bring? Are you also a dinosaur who likes to get pretend married? I got a suit for this; whatchu got?

Best Strike Ever

Yes, on Monday the party is over and we have to strike everything. Hang around and help pack up! Most people do and it goes great.

Or, go the extra mile and volunteer for strike to stay until Tuesday, help us load the truck, and bask in the afterglow.
