Something Else only happens because WE ALL make it happen! Come make friends with other dinos by doing the work alongside them! Our volunteer jobs are mostly fun and mostly easy, get you a discount on your ticket, and are a good way to meet the other dinos you think are neat! Read more on our Volunteer page.

Everyone you see working this event is a volunteer, except for Medical team who are trained professionals yippee! 

With our event growing, our volunteer crew is currently a bit short, especially in the Raptor and Meal teams, which let everyone else run wild and devour dino bites.

Dinos gonna eat

One of the best things at Something Else is community meals, where fellow dinos volunteer to lead a team of about 4 people in the commercial kitchen, making one good meal for a lot of people. Currently, we have Meal Lead openings for both Saturday and Sunday—step up and ensure dinos don't go hongry!

Past classics include Mac n Cheese buffet, After School Special, and huge amounts of curry. The kitchen team will help you plug into an existing project, or lead your team to great culinary success!

What Do I Need at Gate?

• If you have a ticket, your name will be on the list
  • If you buy a ticket after Aug 29, show us a screenshot! It might not be on our list yet
• COVID Rapid Test taken that day
  • We will have some for sale at high prices
• Reference the Survival Guide for further details—we update this regularly and we'll pull out some highlights in our next newsletter so you have the latest and greatest information

90s Dino Wedding!

Wanna get married? Are you a dinosaur? Do you want to watch two or more dinosaurs get married? Yeah? How's that going for you?

Now you can. After last year's 80s Dino Prom, the next logical step is a 90s Dino Wedding: Get (pretend) married. Watch (pretend) marriages. Wear fancy clothes. Dance to 90s dancefloor classics KidHack thinks you might want to hear at your wedding if you were a 90s dinosaur.

Bring your Indian wedding costume, corsage and other great ridiculousnesses for 90s Dino Wedding on Saturday night at Dave's Bar.
