A Burger Bash fundraiser for Jeremy will be held TODAY, September 20 from 5:00pm – 6:00pm at the Jaycee’s Pavilion at Lake Park in Winona.

Gubernatorial Candidate Scott Jensen is scheduled to attend the event.

Are you able to help knock on doors for Brad Finstad in La Crescent?

When: Saturday September 24 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.

Where: Meet at the La Crescent Softball Field, 393 Red Apple Dr. which is Old Hickory Park. The field is located next to the park entrance.

It was a beautiful day for a parade and all the gang was there! Thanks to all the volunteers from three counties (Houston, Winona, Fillmore), our CD 1 Representative Brad Finstad and team, our Senator Jeremy Miller and team, and of course our strong candidates: Dr Scott and Mary Jensen, Kim Crockett and team, Stephen Doerr and team, Tim Gunn and team. Applefest King Apple Parade 2022 is in the books!

Local races are challenging to know details about the candidates and their views. We intend to try and help you solve this!

We will have information forthcoming for October dates with local school board candidates.

Look for details regarding sessions with the local candidates for La Crescent, Caledonia and Houston school districts, with events planned to be held at each school's own auditoriums. 

This will be a perfect time to find out more information on the candidates and find out their policies, plans and stances on issues that matter to you. 

In the meantime, we have two great candidates to support for Caledonia and they have FB pages available with information or even directly contacting them with questions:

Voting in-person on November 8th is the best option to ensure your vote is properly counted. Alternatively, you can also early in-person vote by stopping into the courthouse in Caledonia between Sept. 23-Nov. 7th during normal business hours. 

However, if you can't make it to the courthouse and can't vote in-person on November 8th, be sure to request and vote via Absentee ballot via USPS!

If you do vote absentee, you should also track your ballot status to ensure your ballot is sent and received back to the Auditor's office.

To vote early, in-person, at the Courthouse, simply show up during regular business hours and follow the Vote Here signs:
