Election Day is inching closer, with early voting scheduled to start Friday, Sept. 23. Our candidates are chosen and sample ballots are already available to view. The final push is on and we need everyone's help to successfully cross the finish line.

What can you do to help? Be vocal! Speak up! Volunteer! 

Door knocking, parade walking, Letters to the Editor, Yard signs or even just a simple conversations with family and friends. To win on November 8, we need everyone voting!

We are also working towards helping you be better informed on the local conservative candidates running for local offices. Look for more information in the next days and weeks with helpful information for those running for school boards and county seats.

Our last parade of the season is La Crescent Applefest, on September 18th at 1 p.m. 

Currently, Dr. Scott Jensen's campaign is planning on joining us for that parade, along with several other candidates. We are Unit #58.

We would love to see as many volunteers as possible come out and show support. Nothing says "WOW" like a huge number of parade volunteers walking in a parade.

So if you can, please mark your calendars and join us for that parade. The more, the better! We will need volunteers to: hand out candy, sports schedules, stickers, carry signs.

A Burger Bash fundraiser for Jeremy will be held on Tuesday, September 20 from 5:00pm – 6:00pm at the Jaycee’s Pavilion at Lake Park in Winona.

Gubernatorial Candidate Scott Jensen is scheduled to attend the event.

Are you able to help knock on doors for Brad Finstad? 

When: Saturday September 24 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. 

Where: Meet at the La Crescent Softball Field, 393 Red Apple Dr. which is Old Hickory Park. The field is located next to the park entrance. 

We have yard signs for all the candidates available, including inventory in both Caledonia and La Crescent.

Caledonia: 137 E. Main Street (David Pieper). Simply stop in during normal business hours and pick up your sign.

La Crescent: 715 Jonathan Lane (Cory Johnson). Just email or text or call (507-396-3427) to arrange pick.

If you are looking for signs to be dropped off at a particular location, just send us an email and we will do our best to fulfill that request in a timely fashion. Be sure to include the address and sign(s) requested in the email request.

Minnesota has 45 days of early voting so time is running out to get the signs out!
