ENGAGE Activities and Events Project Coordinator for Northumberland Community & Voluntary Action
The ENGAGE programme is part of Northumberland CVA’s project arm which encompasses direct delivery projects. These projects support our residents to develop wellbeing, confidence, skills, training, resilience, community identity and to encourage social action.
This is an exciting time to join the ENGAGE programme. The Activities & Events project coordinator will be working to improve lives by supporting our older residents to reduce isolation and loneliness, develop confidence, skills, forge community identity, and participate in social action. Ultimately improving mental wellbeing and their quality of life.
We are looking to recruit someone who has a genuine interest in the voluntary and community sector and who has a passion to support people to live their best lives. We want the best, someone who oozes enthusiasm and energy, someone who has empathy and understanding of the barriers our participants may face, someone who can problem solve, safely and effectively whilst maintaining motivation and working autonomously. Salary: £27,852.00. pro rata
Hours: 22.5 hours
Contract: 2 years fixed term
