Dear all,

I hope this email finds you well. Please find our May newsletter below.

You will have seen in my recent email that we had to change the date of our Summer Lunch at the Naval and Military Club (The In & Out) due to rail strikes. The new date of Friday 23rd June 2023 is now available to book. If you have already booked your tickets will be transferred to the new date. Please click here to purchase tickets.

Tickets are also now available for the Douai Foundation Michaelmas Ball, which is taking place on Friday 29th September 2023 at the Savoy Hotel. Please click here to book your Early Bird tickets.

The Douai Foundation Michaelmas Ball

After the success of our first gala dinner in 2021 we are delighted to be hosting our Michaelmas Ball on Friday 29th September 2023. The ball will be taking place at the Savoy Hotel, London to raise funds for the Foundation and more Benedictine projects.

This years ball is set to be an evening full of musical entertainment, delicious food and lots of fun during our auction and raffle. We will start the evening with a champagne reception, followed by a three course dinner. There will be entertainment and music from Saffron Strings string quartet, SKY the world famous magician, our guest speaker and to finish the night music from the fantastic DLR big band.

We have a limited number of early bird tickets available. These cost £149 (once sold will go up to £159).

We really hope you will join us for a fantastic evening at the Savoy and to help raise funds for more Benedictine projects.

The Douai Society are delighted to invite you to a reception and three course lunch at the Naval and Military Club in London on Friday 23rd June 2023.
The reception will begin at 12.30, followed by lunch at 1pm.
