Welcome to Collins Epic Wargames News and welcome to our new subscribers from Adepticon- it was great meeting you all at the show. We've got some big updates below including new YouTube and website content, new products in our store, an Adepticon report, invitation to Richmond Open, exciting news about Polyversal and Retailers, and more below.

We finished up a major website and Store update for our Polyversal site and CEW Store that includes new Product Shots, new configuration options for purchasing Polyversal, new accessories and add-ons, updated gallery, and Battlegroup Information pages that present Unit Spotlight Galleries for each of our 43 unique Combatant Tile designs for Miniatures we offer. Here is a summary of the site updates, but please, go check it out and explore.

• Added a list of Retailers who are now stocking Polyversal in their stores under the Purchase tab
  
• Added Battlegroup information pages for each of the five Polyversal Miniatures Battlegroups including Unit Spotlights with lore
  
• Added choice of Battlegroups when ordering the game with 1, 2, or 5 Battlegroups. There is no longer a “set” base set
  
• Added New Accessories available for purchase with info pages: Printed Rulebook (only), Extra Printed Combatant Tile Packs, Extra Infantry Bases
  
• Added an Add-On Miniatures page with corresponding product pages to offer extra Ares, Janus, Tigerclaw, and Infernus miniatures with Polyversal Combatant Tiles. Limited Quantities
  
• Added a Session Reports page under Community with links to known Polyversal Session reports. Add yours by e-mailing us.
• Added Product Shots with better photos of game, battlegroup, and accessories contents
• Added ability to order UN Quick Reaction Force and OPFOR Minutemen as individual Battlegroups (previously they were only available in the 2-battlegroup set)
• Updated the CEW Web Store to suit all updates, update product shots, and add new configuration options for purchase (battlegroup selection vs. fixed sets)
  

CEW made the 14-hr drive one-way to Adepticon just outside of Chicago, IL (from Virginia) a couple of weeks ago. This show marked the "Show Launch" of Polyversal and was a great success! We nearly sold out of games, met a lot of nice people, met some potential collaborators for future development, and met several retailers who have decided to stock the game in their stores. If you stopped by at the show, thanks for doing so, and thanks for helping us be successful at Adepticon. Some photos are provided below from the show.

We have already reserved our space for Adepticon 2024 and we're hoping to have events set up for next year as well.

We're thrilled to announce that Polyversal is making its way into Retail game stores in the USA! The retailers listed below decided to stock the game upon meeting us at Adepticon or shortly after. Tower of Games has 3 locations in the Hampton Roads, VA area local to us, Gamechefs operates in McClure, OH, and Bricks & Boards plus has a store specializing in tabletop games and Lego sets in Dawsonville, GA. Each logo will take you to the respective store websites.

We're big fans of Boardgamegeek- Byron's been a supporting member since 2006. BGG is a great site to log games, post photos, get rules support, post reviews and ratings, and learn just about anything about any game. 

Byron's been busy updating the Polyversal entry on BGG as well as adding 5 new entries covering each of the Battlegroups we've initially offered. The link below will take you to the main Polyversal entry. From there, click on the Expansions tab to see the 5 Battlegroups. If you own the game or any of the Battlegroups, consider logging it on BGG- it helps with the game's exposure. If you need rules support or have sessions to report, the forums on the main entry are a great place to post them and discuss the game. You can also subscribe to any game's entry to see when new content is posted.

Our next show is Richmond Open in Richmond, VA, May 5-7, 2023. We're excited to exhibit in a 20'x10' space with lots of demos of Polyversal and Spearpoint 1943. We just posted a new video to our YouTube channel that demonstrates how to use Polyversal Arsenal to convert WWII-era miniatures for play. Yes, Polyversal is primarily a sci-fi game, but, the design system can handle equipment as far back as WWI-era. In this video, Byron goes through conversion of 21 US and German 15mm Peter Pig Miniatures in Arsenal and covers some general guidelines. So if you have some WWII Miniatures and want to try them in Polyversal, the system will definitely support it.
