The 2023 season at Artspace is going well so far. Pick up a brochure at Artspace on the Prom to see the full and varied programme of exhibitions for the rest of 2023 and look online at cromer-artspace.uk for additional talks and events.

It’s great to see the ramp in place and in use; thirty people in buggies or with push chairs used the ramp during the Auction Show.

Many thanks to Pete for altering the end wall of the space so effectively and for work behind the scenes, which makes our tiny ‘kitchen’ space feel light and less cramped.

The ‘Secret Auction’ was a great success, especially considering the weather and the economic climate. We raised just over £5K and had over 1200 visitors. We are extremely grateful to all the artists who gave us art for the auction, and to those of you who bid for it!

Last week to see this colourful and organic, immersive exhibition.- which runs until Bank Holiday Monday.

We are most grateful to our friends at the Museum for signposting Artspace in this way and for helping to increase publicly accessible spaces for art in Cromer.

Paston College BTec Artists’ Talk 1st June 4 to 5pm

Marion has exhibited multi-part drawings since being selected for the Jerwood Drawing Prize Exhibition, London 2016. Other group shows include Drawing Now at ICA, Portland, Maine USA 2019, READER, Magdalen Road Studios, Oxford 2019 and MK Calling, Milton Keynes Gallery 2020.

Included in LUX are also paintings on canvas made in 2022.

A new text by Dr Jane Boyer, The Moment Space Comes into Being, accompanies the show.
