Good Friday, fellow reader

Another week passed, which means fresh new updates from our side.

We're like the postman man setting you up with a new newspaper every morning, except we do it only on Friday & mainly in the afternoon.

This week in bullets:

• Lift-off anyKrowd
• KUBO x kaffie in the Gambia
• Waving off Karen :’(

Last week Simon announced three new clients. Today we went to our first new client for an intake meeting focused on communicating the message of anyKrowd. The good news is: that we start with a blank canvas, i.e. communicating the message "en plein public" is currently non-existent. This means that together with the wizards & rockstars at anyKrowd, we can decide if we make it a Jackson Pollock or an Andy Warhol.

This one needs a bit more context to get you along.

KUBO is a project started by Shane Deconinck, a good friend and loyal reader of this newsletter. The project aims to bring digital skills to students (children) in remote places that can't rely on electricity & stable internet.

What started for me as a development internship a few years & hairs ago is now evolving into a model that can be reused by multiple schools in The Gambia (currently 3) and in, extension other schools with the same environment restrictions.

That's it for the context. Now on to the exciting next part.

This autumn, we plan to go to The Gambia to bring the hard work from the past five years into the picture whilst also deploying KUBO to new schools in the most remote area of The Gambia (North Bank).

So exciting times & mosquitoes are keenly waiting for our arrival.

As you might or might not know, we rent an office space to Simon's dad Bart. Until today, we shared our space with Karen, Bart's ever-so-wonderful secretary.
Until today we could count on Karen to add some colour & crazy (in a good way) vibes to the office. But like every good story in life, it has an end. And today was that end. We will miss her but are thankful we could share our first months with her (and, of course, we will still see her from time to time). Thank you, Karen ♥️
