Our News letter is back again and it follows the same structure as last time. The first half of the newsletter will bring you up to date with the most important insights from our research. The second half will focus on our community's activities and opportunities.

At DataQ we put our community first. And we want to start our new year by giving you the steering wheel. That’s why are starting 2023 with a study to gauge the Preferences of our professionals and decision makers in our networks.

Around 80% of our audience reported being always on the hunt to gather new insights and data resources. Whilst 41% of responders reported difficulty in trusting external resources.

In partnership with Amun Data, we are developing a couple of products to empower decision makers in the agricultural sector.

We use a mix of traditional and innovative research methods to deliver timely and high quality research reports about the sector. Below Are some snippets from our 2021 - 2022 Research.

The estimation of the area sown by the main summer crops in the 2021 season was around 58 million Feddans, which higher by 6% than the 5 year average. It's important to note that more than 97% of that area is traditionally irrigated (Rain-fed Irrigation).

Our mission at DataQ is to become the largest knowledge hub in Africa. And we believe that the best way to do this is to enable and empower communities in utilizing their data resources.

DataQ Forums:

in collabration with 249Startups, DataQ has created the first regular forum of its kind to discuss research and data analytics subjects. The purpose of the Forum is to make it possible for organizations and research professionals to exchange knowledge and skills.

The second edition of the forum was a unique success. Four participants shared fascinating insights from their retrospective organizations. The presentations were followed by an engaging discussion, where the audience got to ask questions and give feedback to the presenters. Below are some of the forum highlights:
