What gave you the idea to add narrating audiobooks to your busy life and career? +

I was working as an actor and learned that not only could I produce audiobooks independently but I could also control my schedule: Almost impossible in the acting world! So I got started and got hooked. I've now been narrating for almost 10-years and have done over 120 titles. It's a wonderful livelihood.

What do you love to do on your days off? +

I have a new love in my life and we spend our weekends co-creating wonderful experiences.

What's your favorite part of the process? Prep? Recording dialogue? Pressing Save? +

I love recording. Often when I'm in the studio and have taken a quick break, I'll say to myself with complete sincerity: "I love this job"

What are you reading/watching/eating/whatever floats your boat these days that you want everyone else to try? +

I'm a sucker for celebrity bios. I recently listened to Danny Trejo's memoir and was surprised, moved and inspired. Also, folks: The secret to making your roasted Brussels sprouts juicy? Try dipping them in a side of herbed cottage cheese!

What or who inspires you as an artist? +

I feel aligned with Jim Henson's spirit of gentle playfulness and ongoing possibility.

Random fact: +

I recently recreated REM's Reveal, changing the song order and eliminating two tracks. It's now the album I wanted!
