Hello, My Dears!

Greetings from my air conditioned home! Having just come through 48 hours sans AC, I can tell you that central air is a gift one should not take for granted, at least not in the middle of August.

The power went out on Tuesday, after a big storm whipped through the state, downing trees and bringing down power lines left and right. It was a long two days, but we muddled through. Fortunately, I’d recorded the latest episode of Forget Me Not on Monday. Less fortunately, the new Diary of a Mad Quilter didn’t get recorded before the power went out. I’ll have that to you next week, along with the penultimate FMN chapter.

This week, you’ll be spending time with Florence in her lovely new home. The first few weeks in a new home can be such a lovely time, especially once everything is unpacked and in its place. I think it’s safe to say that Florence feels very much at home.
