Hello, My Dears!
I’m going to make this week’s note a short one – I’m leaving tomorrow for the Iowa Quilt Festival, and I still have to iron, pack and decide exactly what I’m going to read at the reading I’m giving on Saturday afternoon.
This week’s chapter was a fun one to write. Florence is house-hunting! And why shouldn’t she be? She’s been living in that old family museum of a home her entire life, and it’s time she got a place of her own. It was interesting to research how homes were sold back in the day. Real estate agents and agencies were just getting their start in the 1930s. In Florence’s case, she learns of an intriguing house via Edwina’s new friend, Bonaparte Fellows. Maybe Bo will be Milton Falls’s first successful realtor!
I hope you have a lovely weekend and a good week ahead. I’ll give you the Iowa report when I get back. It’s my first visit to the Hawkeye State, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store!
I hope you enjoy this week’s episode. Thanks as always for subscribing to the Story Guild. I couldn’t do it without your support!
