Hello, My Dears!
By the time you read this, I’ll be at QuiltCon in Atlanta, enjoying all of the marvelous quilts on display. Kate Fetzer, daughter to Diary of Mad Quilter’s Marnie Fetzer, will be there too – at least in my imagination! I can’t wait to report on Kate’s experience in Marnie’s diary – and to record Marnie’s reaction. Marnie has some mixed feelings about modern quilts, especially now that Darrell has joined the Modern Quilt Guild.
In this week’s episode of Diary of a Modern Quilter, Marnie ponders the difference between being a parent and a grandparent, eats pastries at Lynn-Ways with Sheila, and spends a week at Camp Taylor-Tyler. Will she ever fully recover? That remains to be seen!
Going back in time to 1934, this week’s episode of Forget Me Not finds Dorothy’s waistband growing tighter – could it have something to do with pie? Hmmm … How could that be, given that pie has zero calories? Tune in to find out why Dorothy’s baking so much pie these days – and who’s knocking on her door at an unexpected hour.
Thanks as always for subscribing to the Story Guild. I couldn’t do it without your support! I know I say this every week, but every week I mean it with all my heart.
