Happy New Year! Did you make any resolutions this year? Or are you like me and old enough to know better? I always set a goal or two, dream a few dreams, and recommit myself, as I do every year, to improving my posture. That’s it – and that’s enough!
I love having something to look forward to this time of year, after all of the holiday lights have been packed away, and a month or two of gloomy weather lies ahead. That's why I’m especially pleased to announce the first Quilt Fiction Quilt-Along! The quilt we’ll be making, “Loves Me, Loves Me Not” features six unique blocks based on Quilt Fiction’s new Milton Falls novel, Friendship Album: Forget Me Not. It’s designed by the marvelous Patty Dudek of Elm Street Quilts, who will lead us week by week through this fun quilting adventure!
The “Loves Me, Loves Me Not” quilt-along runs from January 30 to May 15th. The pattern will be available on January 16th. You can work at your own pace or sew along with our weekly blog posts and social media meet-ups. Participants will be entered into monthly giveaways as well as a Grand Prize giveaway in May! Prizes will be provided by our amazing sponsors, including Fat Quarter Shop, Aurifil, Oliso, Moda, String & Story, Famoré Cutlery and Quiltfolk!

Monthly Quilt Fiction Podcast beginning January 20, 2023!
I'm so glad the Quilt Fiction podcast is back and hope you found time to listen to our Dorothy Christmas story last month. We're going to continue the fun with a slightly reformatted show, starting in two weeks! Each month, I’ll read a quilting story and chat a bit about my favorite quilting novels. Expect the occasional interview with writers and some of your favorite quilters, as well as insights into the world of Milton Falls, Ohio (where most of my quilt stories take place). If you’re already subscribed to the Quilt Fiction podcast, it will pop up in your feed every third Friday of the month.
