Stretch Goals Unlocked!

What have we unlocked so far?

• our poker-size cards will be of the highest quality: 310gsm paper, black core, linen finish
• there will be a colorful scorepad in every box to help with the end-of-game tally
• our sturdy boards (main game board and player boards) will also be edge-wrapped and with a linen finish
• all tokens and tiles are not only chunky (2mm thick!) but also have the luxe linen finish
  
• the game box will have a special printing to make the art and characters created by Laura stand out
• the wooden components (editors, sales agents and tower blocks) in the Collector's edition will have a screen printing (which on top of their colors helps to identify the publishing house they belong to!)

Social Stretch Goals

Following requests from our backers, we decided to add social stretch goals to our campaign.

To start with: we will add 6 extra sales order tiles, which introduce a gameplay variant, if we manage to get to 300 fans on BGG.

****EDIT: Ooops, it turns out that we reached those 300 fans a few hours after we announced this goal on our campaign page! Well, we must not fall below this number before the end of the campaign****

First guest artist card revealed

Last Friday, we revealed the first comics card designed by one of our guest artists: Lisandro Estherren. 

We think Lisandro's art in this cover perfectly captures the tension, darkness, and grittiness of those golden-age crime comics. What do you think?
We loved it so much that we even wrote a possible opening for Lisandro's "Doomed Detective"... (you can check it in our KS update, if you're interested 🙂)

This Friday, 2 new comics covers will be unveiled bringing you the incredible work of artists Elena Casagrande and Giuseppe Camuncoli. Stay tuned!

Competition & Giveaway!

Competition: following suggestions from our backers we decided to launch a "Design your own comic book cover" competition.

We want to see your "Golden Age" inspired comics covers! (Note: you can portray only original characters, invented by yourself).

They can be of any of the 7 genres in the game (superhero, romance, crime, horror, western, sci-fi, or war) or any other genre that you like and is period relevant (e.g. funny animals? pirates? adventure anyone?).

The winner will be chosen by our community and will receive a Collector's edition copy of Age of Comics.

Pro and non-pro artists are welcome. So start sharpening your pencils!

We will share the exact details on how to submit your art on our Kickstarter page on Friday (under Kickstarter Updates).
