Dear
Leander Club's seasonal culinary offerings reach new heights this October with the launch of an outstanding new menu featuring roasted lamb rump, salsify and wild mushrooms and Leander venison and stilton burger with tomato chutney, French fries, and autumn slaw. Click here to see the new menu. Our Sunday roasts return, with a rotating menu.
The weather this weekend looks too good to miss, so we're opening the deck again until Sunday lunch. Leander members who are running Henley Half Marathon on Sunday are welcome to bring their friends and supporters in to the club afterwards to celebrate with pizzas and pints - good luck!
With the Head of the Charles Regatta just around the corner, Leander Members from the United States are warmly invited to join us for a drinks reception at the Somerset Club on Saturday, October 21st at 6.30pm. To reserve your space, please send an email to [email protected]. This gathering will provide a chance to network and meet our exceptional athletes.
Next time you're in the Clubhouse, you'll see refreshed images on the stairwell, documenting this year's successes at HRR and the Worlds, thanks to Rory from AllMarkOne.
I look forward to welcoming you to the club soon.
Kind regards,
Al Heathcote
General Manager

Christmas at the Club
Celebrate with us at our first Christmas Ball! The party on 16th December will be a black tie event, with a three-course dinner and live music and dancing until late. We'll enjoy mince pies and carols around the tree before busting some grooves with an excellent DJ. Members are welcome to bring guests. You will be seated on long tables. Tickets include a welcome drink, canapés and a three-course dinner. For tickets at £65, email [email protected]
We're already taking Christmas meal bookings - where better to enjoy the festivities than in the Clubhouse's luxurious and historic setting? We are pleased to share our fantastic Christmas menu which will run for the whole of December.
If you would like to add mince pies or mulled wine to your meal, or have any other requests, please remember that we are here to serve! We can help create your Christmas celebration just as you'd like it.
Last year, we had more requests for Christmas bookings than we were able to cater for. To offer more spaces this year, we will also open on Tuesday evenings in December for pre-booked groups of 10 or more diners. We advise booking for all parties in advance.
The Club is available for private hire on New Year's Eve, please contact Al Heathcote here for more details.
