We’re continuing to celebrate and support all things Pride. There are some fantastic LGBTQ+ social media accounts that are sharing why Pride Month is important, as well as sharing further resources and information:
Rainbow History Class - Rainbow History Class spans all topics LGBTQ+, sharing a crash course in LGBTQ+ history.
Inclusive Story Time - If you are looking for inclusive stories for children, then Inclusive Story Time is for you. Inclusive Story Time shares picture books that reflect all children’s race, religion, gender, sexuality and family structure. They encourage readers to do the work and seek out activists and storytellers who truly reflect the world we live in.
BiHistory - BiHistory preserves the history of bisexual communities and activists and highlights bisexual icons and activists throughout history.
Invisible Histories Project - The Invisible Histories Project locates, preserves, researches, and creates for local communities an accessible collection of the rich and diverse history of LGBTQ+ life in the US South. Their social media highlights the work they are doing and why sharing this history is so important.
There are so many amazing, interesting, influential and important social media accounts that are sharing LGBTQ+ history, resources and inspiration, not just for Pride month, but all year round.
