The VHS Strikes Back

The show where we dust off the old video player, and go on a journey to look at the good and bad movies of yesteryear

It’s a bit of a different movie this week with the 2001 surrealist neo-noir mystery film written and directed by David Lynch. Our supporter Helen picked this and stars Naomi Watts, Justin Theroux, Laura Elena Harring, and Ann Miller. Regarded by some as Lynch’s best movie, the boys haven’t seen this one before, and it may upset the hardcore.

Mike Of Genuine Chit-Chat

This week on Mike’s podcasts, he’s been releasing episodes of his & Megan’s experiences at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023!

The first episode covers Friday & Saturday where M&M talk about what they expect from SWC, as Megan has never been to a convention before and Mike has been to a few, including the last SWC in the UK, 7 years ago. They then give their thoughts after their first full day of the convention, including some of the exciting Star Wars news about movies, and then the bulk of the episode is their experience of day 2, including some crazy cosplays, interesting panels, celebrity interactions, meeting fellow fans and more!
The second episode is day 3, where the duo attended the Villains Of The Sequel Trilogy panel, the Star Wars classroom panel, more signings, more cosplay and of course; more fun anecdotes and stories!
In the third & final episode, M&M talk about the Bad Batch & Marvel Comics panels and discuss the news, they talk about the closing ceremony, their Celebration experience as a whole, meeting “internet friends”, merchandise they bought and so much more, including their suggestions for any people wanting to go to future conventions!

The final reunion episodes were the last of a relentless almost-daily reality tv run of Love Island Australia, Love Island UK, and finally Married At First Sight Australia season 10. We’ll be taking a week off to recharge and will be back next week and ready to go with the latest season of Love Is Blind.
