What's going on in November foodies?
Mariyam Seguías and her husband opened their home for a very special truffle dinner on 12 November. They source their truffles and other ingredients for this dinner in Piemonte. Lucky guests enjoy this 5 course dinner paired with exceptional wines. She just posted on how it went. MMM... how can we convince other foodies to do things like this? Open their homes ? and their hearts to share a great meal?
Speaking of truffles...There are a few markets and festivals. My favourite is the one in Murten, Fribourg on November 19-20. Meet 22 exhibitors who have different interpretations and products made from this very delicate mushroom. Mmmm..I can’t wait.
Virtual Christmas Market for foodies I'm trying to help small foodie businesses in Switzerland during this season by creating a "Virtual Foodies Market" in our Facebook group. Search for the hashtag #marchefoodies.
Last call for my special handmade boozy advent calendar. It's the last week I'm taking orders for my very boozy advent calendar. It's handmade. This year I teamed up with the Swiss Craft Spirits Festival to create a special, limited edition of a very BOOZY Foodie advent calendar. 25 days to discover 25 different artisan Swiss-produced spirits including different gins, whiskies, rum liquors, fruit brandies, absinthe, vodka, and vermouth. Each day will have a 2 cl bottle with a different spirit inside. You’ll also find a wee story card about the craft distiller and where to buy more. The cards are in ENGLISH 🙂 a special effort to cater to my English-speaking audience.
Order your boozy advent calendar here.

Thats all for now. Short and sweet. Talk to you when I have my gift list sorted out!
Big fat foodie hugs, Jennifer
