Welcome back to School!
There is a buzz around campus, and it is not an invasion of bees; it is the buzz of students and teachers enjoying life, making connections, and learning. Every year of my career, I anticipate students returning to campus with all the laughter and joy they bring!
Two weeks ago, our staff gathered to worship, pray with each other and plan for the year ahead. We all were able to reset our priorities as a Christian school and once again join together in unity around our common purpose to lift up Christ in all we do and teach.
As we all head into the school year, let us remember that the visual mark of a Christian is the love they demonstrate to one another. In fact, Jesus said this is how you will know my followers! John 13:35 As we walk this school year together, make it a habit to pray for each other, to give a lot of grace, to think the best of each other, and to handle those times we disagree with love and kindness.
“Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3
I am confident that God has good things in store for our community this year!
