I... I'll be honest. I can't believe I haven't sent a newsletter since November. It's been such a long time, and it boggles my mind that time has gone by so quickly.
If you aren't friends with me on Facebook, then you won't know all that's happened. We moved, we had to say goodbye to our dog, we spent our first Christmas in the new house, and we welcomed a baby into the family. So many changes have happened, and we're just rollin' with the punches.
In other news, another thing I posted on Facebook is the fact that I've managed to write 2.7 million words since 2019! It's... It's absurd. But true! (And no, I didn't count each word one-by-one. I use spreadsheets, because I love spreadsheets. Probably too much...)
In other, other news that also pertains to writing but not necessarily to my word count over the last 4 years: I was meant to have my next book out by the end of January. As you can tell, that never happened. I tried, but I lost all motivation. It was honestly devastating, because I truly wanted to get it finished and into your hands as soon as possible. However, I've finally gotten my groove back, so I've been writing like mad over the last few days. I won't make a promise as to when it'll be finished, but just know, I'm hoping it's sooner rather than later.
I think that's everything for now. Hopefully it won't be another four and a half months until my next newsletter!
