Firstly, I want to apologize. I know you got an email welcoming you to my newsletter, and that was not meant to happen. I'll bore you for a second: The company through which I craft/send my newsletters revamped itself, and when I went to set up everything again (because of course, it couldn't just set up itself), it decided to welcome you. Again. So I'm sending my deepest apologies for that.
Now. . .
If you know me in real life, then you know my birthday was on the 3rd. Yep, that means I'm another year older but not much wiser. 😉 It was a fantastic, lazy day and I'm thankful to my little family for making it so wonderful for me.
I'm not sure if you remember, but in the last newsletter, I mentioned a new book. Well, I have THREE announcements in this one.
First: The first book I want to announce is one that I've been posting chapter-by-chapter on my website. It can be found under the 'Stories' tab on my website (or by clicking here). I will be posting one chapter every other Sunday.
Long Time Gone:
Loretta Cox and Calum Winger's relationship built quickly and burnt out just as fast. Now seven years later, Rett is back in Oak Creek with only one mission: Get Calum to acknowledge their mistake so she can move on with her life.
But how does one move on when so much of their history is entwined with someone else's?
Second: I have another book being posted to my buymeacoffee, a site through which supporters make donations in return for content. I'll post one chapter a week on Saturdays. As it's a darker work than I've written before (it involves mafia and violence, among other things), it will be locked down to only supporters. It's $1 for an entire month of content, which I think is a steal.
Plausible Deniability:
Aila Greene enjoys her life. It may not be the best life, but it's not a bad one, either. But a lost wallet and a chance meeting throw everything Aila knows into free-fall. She has to decide how much change she's willing to handle.
Aila must choose between letting it go or solving the mystery that is Ransom Moreau. The question is: Will she like what she finds out?
Third: My fellow author, Emerson Hunt, has a book called "Tomorrow" coming out in a couple of months. Therefore, she would appreciate anybody who is willing to be an ARC reader. If you're interested, fill out the form here.
Erin Hartley has enjoyed the relative success her band has had in the States. So it’s no surprise when they’re slated to be an opening act on an overseas tour. Armed with her best friends and favorite guitar, she fights through the anxieties to endure the ups and downs of life on the road. She gets more than she bargained for in the form of new friends—and feelings for a guy who barely recognizes that she exists.
Until she needs him more than she’s ever needed anyone before. Will Grayson’s help be enough to ignite the spark, or will what’s between them fizzle out?
Now with that all being said, I think it's time for me to go pester my family into going for a walk.
