Dear Women of The NETWORK,

I hope you have enjoyed our events so far this year. Our goal is to empower you to make 2023 your best year yet. In January, we introduced you to different ways to achieve wellness. In February, we had a very interactive event to Discover our Powers.

This month, we are celebrating women! International Women's Day (IWD) is on 8 March. We have joined forces with the British Chamber of Commerce for an event that retraces the evolution of women's leadership in Luxembourg, featuring guest speaker Erna Hennicot-Schoepges, the first female minister in Luxembourg. Get tickets and join us.

We will also join AMCHAM and PWC for daytime events as they invited an impressive panel of speakers on this year’s IWD theme #EmbraceEquity International Women’s day 2023 – AMCHAM.

There are still more ways to celebrate IWD in Luxembourg. You can also join an important gathering of several women's associations in Luxembourg that will present the opportunities women can seize in tech, law and beyond in Luxembourg. And that’s just the beginning of this month for us. Our main event, the Expat Experience, will be on Wednesday, 15 March at the Amazon Kirchberg location.

March is also the month of the Annual General Meeting, taking place on Wednesday, 29 March. The AGM is the occasion to thank the current Board members for their amazing job, elect the new Board members, and look back at how we’ve done during 2022 in terms of Membership, Communication, Events, Financial situation, and Charity contributions.

I realize how busy March is for us. We’ll return to normal in the coming months with one monthly event. Our teams will continue to organize exciting events creating beautiful opportunities for Networking, Empowering and Engaging with like-minded ladies.

About this Event

Being an ex-pat is a unique and exciting experience. On the one hand, you get to travel and experience different languages and cultures. It’s a great opportunity to expand your global network, grow your career and have exciting experiences that last a lifetime. The ex-pat experience can also be challenging as you settle into the new country. Juggling administrative responsibilities like registering your new address, getting a driver’s license, or learning about your rights and responsibilities as a resident can be quite taxing. Moreover, the absence of a family support system can add another layer of complexity.

Our March event is dedicated to the Ex-pat experience. During this event, we will share insights on integrating yourself in Luxembourg and update you on policies and news regarding your rights as a resident, including the right to vote in the upcoming local elections. Join our event as our speakers: Luxembourg Minister of Family and Integration Corinne Cahen, Luxembourg City Counsellor Maria Eduarda De Macedo, and LISER Researcher, Natalia Zdanowska, share insightful dialogue on the Ex-pat Experience in Luxembourg.

Five Week Fellowship Programme for Entrepreneurs
The Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative is the U.S. Department of State's flagship program for young European entrepreneurs ages 25-35 of age who are interested in growing their businesses internationally (in the U.S. or Europe) by gaining new valuable know-how
developing a network of founders, business partners and investors in 45 European countries and the U.S.
