About this Event
We live busy lives in a crazy world. You fold the laundry while keeping one eye on the kids and another on the television. You plan your day while listening to the radio, commuting to work, and then plan your weekend. But in a rush to accomplish necessary tasks, you may lose your connection with the present moment—missing out on what you’re doing and how you’re feeling. Did you notice whether you felt well-rested this morning or that forsythia is in bloom along your route to work?
Let’s start 2023 on the right foot with a conversation on wellness and meditation. Our January event will focus on the benefits of meditation and mindfulness. How can being mindful improve your relationships, advance your career, and promote your overall well-being?
The evening will start with Nora Schlesser teaching us how to relax after a stressful day. It will be followed by more relaxation and yoga with Amelie Kuylenstierna, co-owner of Yogaloft. The evening will conclude with Laura Eyer introducing us to mindfulness and how to practice it.
This is an interactive event, and we want you to participate actively. Be sure to wear comfortable yoga-style clothing, take off your shoes, sit on a meditation cushion and enjoy a relaxing event.
Healthy drinks and snacks will be served during the event, and as always, the event finishes with networking, where you are more than welcome to share your self-care routines.
