I’ve been on enough first dates to know the location of your romantic rendezvous matters. Dinner and a movie are exciting if you want to spend an hour watching them chew food and then sit in silence. Each date can and should lead to a memory. Nobody wants to bore a room when asked, “How’d you meet?” Let’s break out of that cliche life and plan a date that will get you excited and show your partner just how amazing you really are.

1. Focus on Interests - It’s easy to plan a date around interests. Ask, “What do you like to do in your free time?” Not only does it show your interested but also provides common ground. Video games?
