ESSENTIALS OF MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS PSYCHOLOGY (MOTIVATION THEORIES AND TEAM PSYCHOLOGY)
Introduction:
Traditional and cultural approaches to management are centered on the
individual who mastered all his skills and has all the knowledge to
solve problems. The traditional Craftsman is an embodiment of all the
skills and is often called upon to preform and exhibit his or her skill
to the admiration of all. However, modern engineering requires Team Work
with people of multiple and special knowledge areas to archive a common
goal. The resulting conflict, which arises from the traditional
conditioning and the behaviors required to perform in a modern context
is not often arrived at through intuition. Thus, must be learnt. This
course is designed to introduce participants to the ideas and theories
which may be used in a management setting to influence a team and make
them more productive. The participant will be given the context within
