Emmaus Way—the walkway from Christ the King/Cristo Rey sanctuary to the large fellowship hall known as Haven Hall. What goes through your mind as you travel between these two spaces? Listen to what the two companions are thinking as they leave Jerusalem and encounter a “stranger” on the way. What kept them from recognizing Jesus on the road? What was it that cleared their vision? What is inhibiting our vision? What would it take to clear our vision and unleash our joy?

On Sunday, April 23, we welcome Deacon Bonnie Beadles-Bohling. Deacon Bonnie serves on the pastoral staff at Central Lutheran Church in NE Portland. She was ordained a Minister of Word and Service in 2019.

Please take a moment to greet Deacon Bonnie and thank her for her presence among us.

Quilters Need Colored Sheets! In last week’s ICYMI, we mentioned that the quilters are in need of queen or king flat sheets. These sheets will be used as backing for the quilts they are making, so they specifically need colored sheets, not white! Contact Gloria if you have questions!
