Little Brown Jug Update
The Little Brown Jug bonspiel is 2 weeks away - Nov 17-19. We have 12 teams now, looking to get to at least 16 if possible. We also have a couple of curlers looking for another couple to make up a team.
This is a great little mixed bonspiel, fun for any skill level. Get a team together and join us at the club.
The Legion will cater the Saturday dinner and I’m rounding up some raffle prizes. If anyone has a donation, let me know and drop it at the club.
Help will be required for day shift bartenders on Saturday, morning snack and coffee setup plus team registration. We should do a cleaning night on Wednesday or Thursday before the bonspiel. Let me know if you can help.
Visit the Bonspiel page for info on how to register.

We are launching our annual Christmas swag fundraiser. Swags are ready for ordering at $30 each and will be available for pickup on Wednesday, December 6th, starting at 4PM. And you don't need to be an OCC member to buy swags so help us spread the word.
Order online and pay by etransfer, or signup and pay at the bar and pay by debit, cash or cheque. Deadline for ordering is Sunday Dec 3rd.
Thanks to Dawn Jardie for making the swags and for her continuing support of our club.
We're also taking orders for OCC Name Tags - $15 - same place to order.

Lounge Upgrades
The dishwasher has been installed. Thanks to Ian Webb for wiring it in at an extremely excellent price.
Thanks to John D for helping with the removal of the old junk in the back room and the plumbing. We are working to finish setting it up and getting more glassware.
Thanks to Curtis Dixon and Chad Thomlinson for donating glasses to get us started.
We are waiting for the new coolers to be delivered.
Thanks to Neal for driving up to Red Deer to get new (to us) chairs. A positive improvement over what we had.

We have brought in a supply of grippers, brooms, headgear, broom heads and other stuff for purchase. We have an agreement with Curlers Corner and can order equipment.

Parking Lot Lighting
The town was at the club last Thursday to replace the lighting around the building. Hopefully, it won’t be as dark out there now.
