UNCOVER Summer School & Capture the Flag

The UNCOVER consortium organised a Summer School & Capture the Flag (CTF) Event, that brought together more than 50 attendants to Prague, Czechia, with the purpose of training Law Enforcement Agents, Forensic Institutions and students on steganography and steganalysis.

XXIXth GRETSI Colloquium in Grenoble, France

UNCOVER’s partner, the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), participated in the XXIXth GRETSI Colloquium Conference which took place from Monday 28 August to Friday 01 September 2023, in Grenoble, France.

EACTDA Tools4LEAs Demonstration & Evaluation Event in Paris

Between June 27th and 29^th, 2023, UNCOVER Project partners were invited to participate in the EACTDA Tools4LEAs Demonstration & Evaluation Event, which took place on the premises of the French National Gendarmerie in Paris.

Security Research Event

UNCOVER’s partners will participate in the Security Research Event (SRE) organized by the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium, between 24 and 25 October 2023.

UNCOVER Publications

A recently published UNCOVER paper written by one of the project partners, Nora Hofer from the University of Innsbruck (UIBK), received the award for “Best Student Paper”. The paper is about "Progressive JPEGs in the Wild: Implications for Information Hiding and Forensics” and was presented at the 11th ACM Workshop on Information Hiding and Multimedia Security – ACM IH&MMSec 2023, held in Chicago, Illinois, June 28-30, 2023.
