Wing to begin ReadyOp/VHF nets. As we get close to the point where we have remote internet access to SDWG repeaters, we will begin proficiency training. Initially ICs, CULs, and MCSs will have access to the system. Other "communicators" may follow.

Redcap Wednesday: AFRCC issued a mission number Wednesday for SDWG to support a search for two missing snowmobilers in the Rochford area of the Black Hills. Due to weather, CAP was not able to fly, but the snowmobilers were found by other search parties.

Finance: To improve communication concerning Finance matters, the new Wing Financial Analyst assigned to oversee Finance in South Dakota Wing has asked that our Wing Administrator, Rachel Kuecker, be the FIRST point of contact for all questions, requests, and forms. Contact Rachel FIRST and she will refer the inquiry to the right staff member.
UAS Training Goals: We'd like 12 (or more) mission pilots and 24 or more technicians. Instructors will travel to your home locations for hands-on UAS flying using SAREX training funds to accomplish this. We'll also give SQTR training online in Teams. Complete the training survey
Cadet Protection Training:Check your 48-month (4-year) CPPT expiration. Two dozen members expire between now and July. Members who are not current may not participate in CAP activities.
