Let's check out the latest juicy drama in the product/tech world 🍿

1. IPO ALERT: Instacart is looking to unfreeze the tech IPO world as it recently filed to go public on the Nasdaq. Tech IPOs have had a rough go recently (we're talking about you, better.com) but we'll see if Instacart can break the cold streak 🥕
   
2. Microsoft is bringing upgrades to Excel, as it is adding support for Python into the application. That's great and all, but what we really want is to be able to easily share/collaborate on our Excel sheets as easily as on Google sheets 🤧
3. Google continues to drop features to keep people coming back to its search engine. This time, it is adding a new feature to Google Flights that will tell you when it's the cheapest time to book. We've used this feature along with their flight notifications and can confirm, it works like a charm 🙏
4. OpenAI is expanding its revenue streams from ChatGPT as it is now launching a ChatGPT plan for enterprise customers. That's a new one you can add to the list of free softwares you can get from a job in tech 💰
5. Google is taking a page out of OpenAI's book and also charging big businesses $30/user per month for its AI products in Gmail and other workspace apps. If you ask us, that's pretty steep for what they offer but we expect these products to improve over time as well 📈
6. We recently dropped a brief explainer on LinkedIn about passkeys, a new type of authentication many products are using these days. It looks like X and LinkedIn are the latest apps hopping on the trend. If you weren't already convinced you should understand passkeys, let this be another reminder ⏳
7. Apple made waves earlier this year when they announced the Vision Pro headset at WWDC. Well now they have an event on September 12th that they're calling "Wanderlust" and they're expected to announce the new iPhone there 👀
8. Verizon dropped a feature we've been wanting forever. You can now block spam texts sent from random email addresses by taking one simple step (its texting 'Off to 4040') 💪
