The product and tech world never fails to deliver the entertainment. Let's see the latest juicy news 🍿
- In case you missed it, Sam Altman (founder of OpenAI) has a new pet project called Worldcoin. The goal: eyeball scanning to be able to "distinguish humans from AI online" and enable "global democratic processes". Oh yeah, they also have a crypto token. It's a brilliant business plan to be fair. Create AI --> Offer solution to protect from that AI 😅
- Twitter (we refuse to call it X) has started to open up its ad revenue sharing program with global creators. Some Twitter users out there are raking in some pretty serious checks suddenly. Who knew shitposting could be so lucrative 🤷♂️
- A week or two ago, we asked for Apple to incorporate generative AI into Siri so it can stop answering every question with Safari search results. Looks like Google decided to do it first 👀
- A few more new AI features were announced:
- Youtube is adding AI to summarize videos on its platform in order to help viewers decide what to watch
- Pearson is offering new AI study tools including some to "help students in a time crunch". So basically cliffs notes for everything. Where was this when we were in school?!? 😭
- Microsoft Teams is adding "spatial audio" features to its product, so that you can feel like you're actually in a room with your colleagues. We're not sure how we feel about this one... 🔊
- No more dealing with spam DM requests on Instagram and unwanted pictures (a problem we totally have all the time 🙄). Instagram is adding new features to limit people from sending more than 1 DM to someone who isn't their friend, unless the request is approved. They also prevented pictures from being in original DMs 🔐

Carl Vellotti's Guide for Books for PMs
You probably have been recommended a PM book... or 50...
There's an endless amount of "useful content" out there for PMs to consume and learn from, and it can be really daunting to figure out which ones are noise vs. signal. Senior PM Carl Vellotti has done the hard work of creating a very useful guide for great PM books depending on what you're trying to strengthen from your product skills.
Take a look below!
