Let's see what's popping in the product/tech world this week 🍿
- Check out Stability AI's new tool that can turn a scribbled drawing/sketch into a fully colored picture. This tech is only gonna get better and we see it becoming a major factor in product design in the future 🔮
- As if his hands weren't already full with Twitter, Elon announced he's launching another company and it may be his weirdest yet. The new company "xAI" says it's goal is to use AI to "to understand the true nature of the universe." 🤔
- Returning back to "normal" AI product releases, Wix has a new product which can create an entire website from a prompt 🤯
- Passkeys are increasingly becoming a concept that every PM should understand, as more big companies continue to implement them. This time, TikTok is rolling out support for passkeys. Stay tuned, we'll cook up a quick explainer on passkeys if you're not familiar with them 👨🍳
- Sometime the best product strategy involves a little bit of luck. That was the case for a Slack alternative called Threads, which saw a massive download surge this past week due to people mixing it up with Meta's Twitter competitor of the same name 😭

It's that time of the week! Here are some more resources that can help advance your product career and job search!
Last week we included a PM interview practice question and folks really enjoyed the practice. Here's another one to start off your week that's been used before at Datadog!
PM Interview Practice Question: Spark Product
Question: You are the Product Manager for a new social media app called "Spark". The app has been live for 6 months and has been growing steadily, but you are not satisfied with the growth rate. You believe that the app has the potential to be much more successful, but you need to figure out how to increase user engagement and retention.
Take a crack at the exercise yourself, and you can find out our breakdown on how to approach the problem at the bottom of the newsletter!

- Identify the stakeholders. Who are the key stakeholders who are affected by the problem? What are their needs and priorities?
- Generate solutions. Brainstorm a list of potential solutions to the problem. Consider both short-term and long-term solutions.
- Evaluate solutions. Evaluate the feasibility and impact of each solution. Consider the costs, risks, and benefits of each solution.
- Present your solution. Present your solution to the stakeholders and explain why you believe it is the best solution.
