Now, let's get into this week's news:

1. OpenAI just closed a sale of shares for over $300M at a valuation north of $27B. AI has been the talk of the town this past month and it appears the money is following. 🏃‍♂️
2. Spotify and Apple Music beware, because Youtube just rolled out podcasts on its platform. Many podcasts already have Youtube channels for growth, and few platforms help creators monetize better than Youtube so this could be something to watch 👀
3. A man who is often called the "Godfather of AI" (Geoffrey Hinton) stepped down left his role at Google this past week and delivered some pretty intense warnings about AI. This AI thing is starting to seem just a tiny bit like the movies 🍿
4. Microsoft's Bing Chat AI is now publicly available. You'll need to use Microsoft's Edge Browser and sign in with a Microsoft account but you no longer need to get approved 🔥
5. Passwords are so last year. Google added support this week for logging into your account with a passkey. A passkey is essentially a form of passwordless authentication that uses biometrics (e.g. face scan or fingerprint) for login and lives only on your device. We expect this to become more of a standard in new products moving forward 🔒
