1. Meta continued getting in on the AI fun, as it released a number of generative AI features for advertisers on its platform including using AI to create backgrounds, expand images and generate multiple versions their ad copy 🔮
2. On a related note, Meta is doing everything it can to be able to continue tracking user data in the EU, as it is now trying to offer an ad-free subscription plan or ad-tracking setting for users in the EU 🔍
3. It looks like Spotify is ready to expand into a new market. The music streaming platform is now adding a selection of 150k+ audio books available to subscribers in the UK and Australia. The feature is coming to the US soon 👀
4. The puzzling decisions from Elon and X continued this week as they are now cutting headlines from link previews in Tweets. Elon says its because they want more people to post their content directly on X 🙄
5. Google had its "Made By Google" event this past week, where it announced the release of its new Pixel Phone, Watch, and more. And of course, they come with new AI features 📈
