1. TikTok has ordered its employees to RTO. This wouldn't be newsworthy expect for the fact that they're requiring employees to use an app to track their in-person attendance 😬
2. Check out the new security and privacy features included in iOS 17. One of the most interesting ones is "Lockdown Mode" which is designed for when you believe you may be the target of a cyberattack 😳
3. Pay transparency is reportedly now in a majority of US Job Postings, with over half of postings providing at least some salary information, the highest yet recorded. We do our best to provide salary information in our job postings whenever available 📈
4. Elon Musk is reportedly considering making X paywalled for every user. He claims it would be to combat bots, but it conveniently also puts a lot more money into the X bank account 💸
5. Product Designers, this one is for you: Substack recently did a redesign of its mobile app to "boost discovery and engagement". Check out the changes they made and why they made them 🔥
   
6. After having no tech IPOs for most of the year, we've now had 2 this month. Instacart debuted on the stock market this week, soaring 40% in its debut and now dropping to 10% below its IPO price. The company is now valued at around 8-9B. It was once valued at 39B in a previous funding round 😭
